So there's this little hometown restaurant here in Logan called Angie's. It's basically your homestyle version of a Denny's. Anyway, they have this giant ice cream sundae called "the sink"... it's half a gallon of ice cream covered in whip cream, chocolate, strawberry, and caramel syrup, bannanas, strawberries, M&Ms, oreos, butterfingers, peanut butter cups, etc. So the deal is, if you can eat a whole "sink" by yourself and keep it down for a decent amount of time you have the privilege of saying you "cleaned the sink at Angies"!
That is a big bragging right but very few people accomplish it! So after the basketball game the other night a bunch of us went to Angies which is a common tradition anyway. But this time a group of us decided to order one "sink" and just share it. Well we were trying to finish it before another group of our friends on the next table and we got it down to where it was like that puddly milky stuff so my friend Nate says, "Shantelle you should just drink it really fast then we'll be done"
He promised he'd hold my hair and not dump it right on top of me... Well, it was working well until I needed to swallow. I have a slight cold and my nose is stuffed up so when I went to swallow I also needed to breathe, but I couldn't breathe, swallow, and keep drinking the goop that was being poured into my mouth. So I pulled back, nate kept pouring, i gasped for air without swallowing first and there went the ice cream!!! All over everyone at the table, all over my pants, in my hair, EVERYWHERE!!!
Not to mention that in the process I somehow knocked all the drinks over on the table... yeah it was messy!! The entire restaurant by now was just in hysterics laughing at me including myself. Of course my wonderful kind friends made sure they took a picture before handing me a napkin!! The waitress was so entertained as well that even though I didn't technically finish eating a whole sink by myself, she still gave me a bumper sticker and I now hold the rights that I "cleaned the sink at ANGIES!!" It was a messy memory for sure!!
